What’s The Best Movie Theater In Portland?

Hi. My fiancee and I just moved into the Portland, Oregon area. We live downtown in the Pearl district and there seems to be a lot of movie theaters around. However, they seem kind of small and mostly play older movies. We don’t mind driving farther to see movies in a great theater with latest digital surround sound and technology. What’s generally known as the best movie theaters in Portland (and the surrounding suburbs)? We’d love any chance to explore the area and find restaurants there as well.

One of the nicer, and newer, Theatres in Portland is over in the Sherwood area just off of Highway 99. Unfortunately that’s quite a drive from the Perl Distract.
Downtown I would probably try the Theatre in the Loyd Center. Its a larger theatre and should have all the current equipment for playing and would be considerably closer to you. The only downside is you would have to deal with the normal Mall Crowds.

Oh when I clicked this question I thought you were asking what the best theatre is in Poland. I was gonna say, the one where the seats aren’t facing the back wall.
