Portland State defeats Idaho State 67-64
Charles Odum scored 18 points and Chehales Tapscott had 15 points and 16 rebounds to lead Portland State to a 67-64 victory against Idaho State on Thursday night. Renado Parker had 11 points and Nate Lozeau 10 for the Vikings (12-12, 6-6 Big Sky), who shot 1 of 14 from 3-point range but made up for it at the free-throw line, going 20 for 25.

Charles Odum scored 29 points to lead Portland State to an 80-68 victory against Idaho State on Monday night. Chehales Tapscott added 15 points for the Vikings (9-9, 3-3 Big Sky), and Lateef McMullan and Renado Parker had 10 points each. Portland’s Johnson, Babbitt assigned to D-League
The Portland Trail Blazers have assigned forward Luke Babbitt and guard Armon Johnson to the Idaho Stampede of the NBA’s Developmental League. Johnson has been inactive so far this season for the Blazers, while Babbitt played two minutes against Sacramento in the team’s second game. Both are second-year players who also played for the Stampede last season.
