Disabled woman missing from Portland home

PORTLAND — A disabled Portland woman was reported missing from her care facility Friday, police said. Mona Lillian Jimenez left the Gateway Care Home Friday for a medical appointment and did not return to the home afterward, according to Lt. Pedestrian killed in Portland hit-and-run

PORTLAND — A man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Southeast Portland Saturday night and police said the driver left the scene and was not located. Portland firefighters remove body from roof of parking garage after officer-involved shooting

The man had been shot dead earlier this morning during an encounter with Portland Police officers. The man called 9-1-1 at 3:15 a.m. to report that he had committed a robbery and would soon jump from the roof of the parking garage.
